All great movements start with a great story.
This is ours.
Humankind Beverage was founded by former youth pastor T.J. Foltz in 2010, after a life-changing mission trip where he witnessed children drinking from contaminated water sources. Moved to action, he launched a bottled water company with a bold purpose: to use 100% of its net profits to fund clean water projects around the world. Just two years later, Humankind gained national attention by winning Walmart’s “Get On The Shelf” contest, helping bring its mission-driven products to a wider audience.
To ensure lasting impact and transparency, the Kind Human Foundation was created as the nonprofit arm of Humankind Beverage. The foundation directs all donations (unless otherwise designated) toward sustainable clean water solutions—drilling wells, installing filtration systems, and empowering communities with safe, life-giving water.
Together, Humankind and the Kind Human Foundation have already brought clean water to more than 345,000 people across 14 countries, including underserved areas right here in the United States. What began with a single act of compassion has grown into a movement—one where every donation and every bottle helps change lives.
