Kind Human Foundation began with a simple conviction: every person is made in the image of God and worthy of clean water.

Our leadership is prayerful, purpose-driven, and believes that faith is something to be lived, not merely spoken. For us, loving our neighbors isn’t about guilt, recognition, or checking a charitable box. It’s our response to the grace we’ve been shown. Our Christian faith compels us toward radical generosity—and meeting the global water crisis head-on is one of the clearest ways we know to live that out.

That doesn’t mean you have to share our beliefs to share our mission. We proudly partner with people of every background, every worldview, and every belief system. We serve communities unconditionally because every human life carries immeasurable value. Our faith is our “why.” Clean water is our “how.”

Our story began in 2010, when founder T.J. Foltz returned home from a mission trip unable to shake what he’d witnessed: families forced to drink contaminated water because they had no other choice. Instead of letting that experience fade, he built Humankind Beverage around an uncommon idea—that a business could exist to help fund lasting clean water solutions around the world.

As the mission grew, so did the vision. The Kind Human Foundation was established as an independent nonprofit to steward charitable giving, build partnerships, and focus entirely on bringing sustainable clean water to communities in need. Humankind Beverage remains an important part of our story, but today the foundation is powered by a much larger community of generous individuals, churches, businesses, and partners who believe compassion is most meaningful when it becomes action.

Together, we’ve helped bring clean water to hundreds of thousands of people across four continents. But we’ve never believed water is the finish line. It’s the beginning of healthier families, stronger communities, and new opportunities that simply weren't possible before.
